Do you play the blame game?
I play the blame game but I find that the game rarely solves my problems. I've blamed my stepson for the demise of my home as a sanctuary and for my failing marriage. But the problems are still there to be solved or at least managed. I'd probably blame my stepson for the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, as well as covid, monkey pox and climate change, if I could!
From now on, I'm always going to blame it on the boogie!

I love the Afro hairstyle. I wish it came back into fashion amongst black men and women. My youngest grandson has an Afro, and he loves it as do I!

I’m big about taking responsibility. That said, Nick and I have a little game where I blame him for stuff the cats did. He knows I’m messing with him though
Like you, I'm all for taking responsibility. That was drummed into me by my parents and at school. However, if I'm not responsible, I'm inclined to blame others sometimes rightly and often wrongly.
I too blame Nick for anything bad that Zelensky does. He is after all the de facto surrogate father and he needs to take his responsibilities seriously! You know I'm only kidding.
When I mess up or do something wrong, instead of blaming someone else, I try to weasel my way out of it. This way, I don't risk that 'someone' coming after me later
I must try the 'weaselling' strategy when I do wrong!

I don't like the blame game. I usually will always take heat for my mistakes. But most times I blame my bosses because they were the government. They are use to always getting the blame and besides, you really can never trust them anyway....lol
Like you' I'll take responsibility for my mistakes (and achievements) but if I wasn't responsible, I'll blame and even credit others.
Governments can be blamed for lots of things but when things go really wrong such as a terrorist attack like 9/11 (here the 7/5 attack), a pandemic like covid, and a war, it's governments who first respond. I've never known a multinational corporation to step up to the plate in these circumstances.
I think many in our society like to blame others for their own problems. It’s disappointing and dangerous when they do.
It's easy, too easy, to blame others. Sometimes we all have to look at ourselves in the mirror.
There was a time in Japan where young women blamed the moon for their bad actions. It became quite the social issue at one time. Don't hear about it as much these days.
The moon does have some interesting effects on the planet though it's stretching things to blame the moon for our problems.
