Lost in Music was a hit single released by Sister Sledge in 1979, the heyday of disco. The song was written and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, two stalwarts of the best ever disco band, Chic. "Le freak, c'est chic. Freak out!"
I haven't blogged for a few days because I've been away on a photo shoot in Montreal. Jordan Matter, an American photographer, wanted to photograph naked men and women dancing on city streets at night for his Dancers after Dark series. The photographer wanted to take photos of naked disco dancers in New York, the home of late 1970s and early 1980s disco. Initially he approached John Travolta to dance naked but he declined the offer because, so I've been told, he has a little willy!
Jordan Matter then approached Niles Rodgers, the king of disco, if he knew of anyone who is an accomplished disco dancer. My name was suggested, and that's how I got the gig. Unfortunately the photo shoot had to be moved from New York to Montreal because of fears that I'd be a target for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Below is 'me' half naked dancing in Montreal. I'm the disco dancer on the right with a naked woman leaning on me. I was wearing a flesh-coloured posing pouch!

I remember kids on high school arguing whether rock was better than disco. I liked both.
The rock versus disco debate was a bit of a false debate, though it was quite a revealing debate. Rock is white and straight, while disco is non-white and non-straight. Cultural times!
I would enjoy doing that for sure! I would prefer being on a sandy beach though. Γ°ΕΈΛΕ½
Sandy beaches are great provided the sand doesn't invade my body!
The last picture is quite .... twisted, hehehe. In a good way. I can hear someone shouting, Hold the pose!!! LOL

Lol, if there was a posing pouch then John Travolta shouldn't worry about a little willy should he? Ha ha. Always remember size doesn't matter.
From what I heard, John Travolta didn't like the idea of wearing a padded posing pouch!
