Crocs seem to divide opinion. I'm a proud owner of a pair of Crocs. I love wearing Crocs while on holiday in a hot country. I wear them all the time, whether on the beach, in the sea, on the streets, in a bar and or in a restaurant. There's no need to pack another pair of shoes in my suitcase when Crocs are involved!
Do you wear or have you worn Crocs?
Crocs, Inc, an American footwear company, first launched its Crocs shoes in 2002. Each Croc shoe has 13 ventilation holes. It's estimated that by 2022, 850 million pairs of Crocs have been sold worldwide. One of the most expensive pair of Crocs are the platformed Hardcrocs designed by the Balenciaga fashion house. A pair will set you back about $1,190 (£885 or €1,020).
Crocs seem to be making a comeback, especially amongst kids, as the shoes can be accessorised. Crocs renewed popularity has also been fuelled by many celebrities, such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner, Nicki Minaj and Eliot Page, have all been spotted wearing Crocs.
Below is 'me' posing half-naked in my pink Crocs while on holiday! I promise you that I do take my Crocs off when having sex. There are standards to maintain!

I have never worn nor owned a pair of Crocs. I lived most of my life in Florida and recall when they came out. A close friend owned a pair and my respect for him dropped down because of him wearing them. Don't get me wrong, I love a great comfortable shoe to wear. Especially ones you can wear in tropical and hot weather and can get wet and dry off easily. But here is the thing for me, I want a shoe I can keep secure to my feet and not worry about if slipping off. I was a letter carrier for 34 years and I walked my good share of miles in all sorts of terrain so I believe I know how important good shoes are. I want something, useful, reliable and durable. I won't wear them because they are trendy, and if I did, then the whole picking out an appropriate shoe is just as the say - a crock! 🤨
It seems only recently that Crocs can be regarded as trendy. When they first came out, there were almost anti-fashion.
Do you wear or have you worn Crocs? - No to both. Despite the ventilating holes, being "plastic" they just seem like they'd be hot. My summer footwear option is boat shoes.
Are those really "Crocs" in the shot? Look more like plastic sandals to me. Happy HN-C regardless.
Crocs aren't made of plastic as such. I believe they're made from a resin.

Regular Crocs give me blisters. I do like Crocs flip flops. Really comfy.

The clogs are ugly but I would consider a pair of sandals like the ones “you†are wearing in the photo.

I've never owned a pair of Crocs and I'm not too fond of them. Ok, I'm judgemental. This oussy dries up at the sight of an adult in them. Male or female. Lol

I do have a pair of Crocs that I wear to the beach but that's the only place I wear them. Those bumps on the inner sole against the bottom of my feet are not very comfortable.
Crocs are brilliant on the beach.
I am glad you like your Croc's my friend. I have never been a fan of them myself. I just would prefer to wear sandals as much as I can.
